Orange Phase Prestige 2026 Limited Edition Electric Bicycle

The Orange Phase Prestige electric bike is an ultra-limited edition high-end enduro / electric mountain bike (E-MTB), with only 25 units produced worldwide by British brand Orange Bikes in collaboration with Hope and DJI.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you'll already know that the E-MTB is both an industry staple and a trail-head regular, once upon a time E-MTBs were a minority, but over the last decade there's been a huge shift in peoples' preferences. They've opted for assistance, opted for bigger days on the bike and ultimately opted for MORE, well, everything.

The evolution of the E-mtb has been incredible, the bikes are almost unrecognisable compared to their original counterparts. Orange has been developing and manufacturing e-bikes for over a decade in our UK factory and with every iteration, they've got better.

Our latest Phase (sorry) of development has been focused on our most popular model, the bike that exists in the Goldilocks principle, the bike that suits, pretty much everyone. The Orange Phase.

The Phase is our new E.P.O (Electric Powered Orange) model, featuring MX wheels, 160mm of front and rear travel, geometry to conquer both the bike park and backcountry, and now powered by Avinox!

Chassis

The manufacture of the Phase is underpinned by our iconic aircraft-grade aluminium folded monocoque construction technique that we are so proud of. With cutting-edge aluminium craftsmen boasting years of experience, we believe the frames we produce today are the best we have ever made and probably the best looking in the world. Fabricated from flat sheets of aerospace-grade aluminium into individually custom-fabricated tubes, then seam welded for each specific application, working in harmony with CNC machined components from aluminium billet, all meticulously modelled and analysed. All produced, fabricated and assembled in the UK in our very own factory. This means we have a product that is strong, durable and fully recyclable at the end of life cycle.

Designed, manufactured and assembled in the UK, we have complete control from start to finish. The Phase now features a new tubeset, improving not only front triangle space and fine-tuning frame compliance, but also allowing us to mount the Avinox display within the top tube. We've also adjusted the frame sizing, making seat tubes shorter to better allow for longer dropper posts and improved the aluminium bash guard protection to keep your investment protected, you won't find plastic bits here.

The Phase uses a 205x65 trunnion mount shock and has the capability to use a bearing eyelet at the shaft end to allow the lowest possible breakaway force, keeping the suspension supple in even the choppiest terrain. The frame is boost 148x12, uses a UDH hanger to ensure future compatibility and access to a hanger almost anywhere, sticking with the rear, we've improved the asymmetrical rear triangle increasing vertical stiffness but still maintaining the lateral compliance that we feel is critical to grip.

Geometry

Bike geometry has settled down in recent years and the massive push for longer and slacker seems to have found a sweet spot. We believe the geometry on the Phase is the ideal blend of downhill prowess and all-day comfort.

The Phase features a 64° head angle, 76° seat angle and 480mm reach in large, the bike uses a reduced offset fork and a 448mm chainstay to keep a planted and safe feel, but not detract from the bike's agility.

The Phase Prestige integrates one of the most powerful electric motors on the market:

• Motor: DJI Avinox M2S

• Torque: 130 Nm (up to 150 Nm in Boost mode)

• Power: 1,300 W (up to 1,500 W peak in Boost mode)

• Battery: Fixed 800 Wh (3.74 kg), with a 12 A ultra-fast charger

• Display: 2-inch color OLED touchscreen (DP100) integrated directly into the frame's top tube

• Manufacturing: 6061-T6 monocoque aluminum frame handcrafted and assembled in the UK (Halifax).

• Prestige Finish: Hand-painted gradient from purple (Purple Reign) to white (Smoke White) with numerous anodized purple parts created by Hope.

• Wheel Format (MX / Mullet): 29 inches front for stability and 27.5 inches rear for agility.

• Travel: 160 mm front / 160 mm rear.

• Features: SRAM UDH derailleur hanger, custom aluminum bashguard, Trunnion suspension mount (205x65).
